This means the length of the tubes, the bends, the step pads and the brackets are all uniquely designed for a specific vehicle application. This particular set of custom nerf bars is designed to fit specific years of the Chevy Colorado and GMC Canyon (see application information to verify fitment with your vehicle). Each set of tubes is also shaped and bent to contour to the rocker panels of the vehicle and complement its existing style. For dependable weather resistance through all seasons, ARIES 3" steel nerf bars are shielded in a dual powder coat finish. The initial coat is an E-coat finish that creates a solid foundation for the steel tubes, protecting them against rain, mud, road salt and ultimately rust. The E-coat is then combined with a final semi-gloss black powder coat. This durable black finish further protects the nerf bars against corrosion, while easily withstanding nicks, scratches and scuffs from small debris. The finish is also designed to resist UV damage for long-lasting fade resistance. ARIES 3" round step bars are equipped with non-skid step pads to promote safe entry and exit on your vehicle. The step pads are constructed from tough black polypropylene to resist wear. The poly is also UV-protected to resist cracking and fading in the sun. The step pads feature an aggressive, aftermarket design and are depressed into the 3" tubes for a more comfortable step. ARIES 3" round side bars are very easy to install. Because easy set is made vehicle-specific, there is no need for drilling or tedious modifications. The brackets are engineered to utilize pre-existing mounting points on the vehicle. This ultimately speeds up the installation and offers enhanced rigidity in the side steps. The brackets are also constructed from high-strength steel and have a durable powder coat finish for lasting strength.
