Description
This sway control replacement ball is designed to attach a sway control unit to the vehicle-side of the connection. With its 5/8″ shank diameter, it mounts into the mounting tab of a weight distribution hitch or a sway control ball mount. It features a ball diameter of 1-1/4″ to fit the CURT sway control unit #17200 and features a chrome-plated finish for long-lasting rust resistance.
REPLACEMENT 1-1/4″ SWAY CONTROL BALL (5/8″ X 1-3/4″ SHANK) #40093 Hitch-mounted attachment ball for the sway control unit #17200. 5/8″ diameter shank fits most weight distribution hitches. Also compatible with sway tab ball mount #45820 or weld-on sway tab #45822. Sway control helps reduce lateral trailer movement. Constructed from high-strength steel. Protected by a durable chrome-plated finish. Zinc-plated hex nut and helical lock washer for secure mounting. Notes: The mounting platform must be at least 3/8″ thick, and the hole size must not be more than 1/16″ larger in diameter than the threaded shank.
